Two poems from Tembeka Mbobo

Two poems from Tembi Mbobo, co-founder of the Women in Writing Community Project in South Africa and Woman of the Year 2003 for Arts and Culture in South Africa. Tembi's project reaches out to impoverished members of society by training them, irrespective of their origins, in story-telling and writing skills in order to tell the story of their own history. Tembi has also established the Centre for Enrichment in African Political Affairs to inform local people about South African politics and history. She is currently editing a compilation of short stories by indigenous women in South Africa for her book 'Voice of Our Own'.
