  • Awesome video..I love my skunk

  • I wanted a skunk when I was a kid and I nagged my parents relentlessly till I got oneA lovely adult female domesticated skunk (descented) named Honey whose owners had lost interest in.

She was an extremely gentle and friendly animal who loved resting in a lap and being petted.

Id have another but I live in a skunk unfriendly state now. (NC)

I truly do love skunks and its a shame that they and rats (which also make awesome pets) are so misunderstood.

  • @Linuxrat I would live with a skunk without it being descented... I rather have the skunk not descented... as if I get a descented skunk now... my dog would eat it.. a skunk without being descented would teach her not to mess with strange, stripey cats... lolz!

  • @ilikebender

Well if you treat it nicely, there is no reason for it to blast off at ya...I had no idea you could have them as pets over there..Excellent!

  • @ClaraKlaxon

Yes... they do have a special hole... 2 actually... they're called stink glands..

  • @Linuxrat Move to uk... skunks are legal in uk, and there are no rabies... so, if your skunk bites someone, it won't be taken away... but you have to live with it without descenting it... as it's illegal to do so...

  • I actually sort of like the smell of a roadkill skunk. True, fresh skunk spray, however, is an absolutely unbearable odor. Really hard to describe... ever gotten a whiff of really concentrated ammonia? Imagine that times 1000, mixed with buring tires and an overwhelming sulfur stench. Most people vomit if they get sprayed in the face

  • I wouldn't mind having a skunk for a pet, they seem like very sweet misunderstood animals. Luckily the state I live in, and the one I want to live in aloow them as pets :3 And taking care of a skunk is a lot like a kitten, but they're just more fragile and gentle.

  • I luv skunks wish i had one as a pet, I like the smell.....

  • She got sprayed in the face? She musta reeked!!
