Me too. I know it's lo-fi and HD hadn't been invented,
but there's a touching quality about Mike's performance.
Glad you enjoyed it,

Well I still do my share of standing in long queues to get into big arenas, but these small scale gigs are special when one of your big heroes sits at the back and graciously chats to fans and patiently signs autographs for an hour or two and then.... He gets up on stage and sings and plays with a commitment and a passion- just magical.

No ruinous feud? My heart breaks that the complete ISB reunion couldn't seem to be sustainable, but ah! the memories. Nostalgia is a wonderful thing, but add dreams, magic and a few flas-backs!

Well said.... No doubt, you'd have enjoyed Robin's performance here in Birmingham with John Renbourn in April. As he was about to sing his first encore, a drunk came staggering in, shouting that the ISB changed her life and demanded he sing "Lay Down my Dear Sister...." so he did.... It was magnificent on all levels but it struck me that he's very happy singing Mike Heron songs. He's a very happy man.
