@ut5t Sorry about late reply.

The BEST advice I can give you is to do life drawing. Life drawing means having different people to model for you.

Just by doing life drawing you will learn lots of skills:

Anatomy, observation, detail, perspective, measuring, etc.

Of course if you're going into Manga or Anime, then you will also need to watch Anime, read Manga and practice sketching too.

but now I really want to get into art. I am going to start over completely from scratch. I want to just forget what I have learned so far, as I have many mistakes, and many habits. Let's say that I want to restart on Anime/Manga type art first; what do you recommend for me to start learning first? And in what sequence? Also, will you recommend any tutorials to me?

I love your art, Nadyusha.

I have a few questions for you though; How long have you been 'into' art? Do you have any tips for a complete newbie? And, what do you think would be best for learning how to draw? Pencil, pen, or mechanical pencil? (I myself prefer my mechanical pencil.)

And some more questions: I've been 'into' art for a few years now, but I was never really dedicated enough to really research anatomy or anything, just a casual 'drawer', (I'll post a reply to this for the rest)
