i think what is going on is that he got his pants altered, and they forgot to remove the pin, and he was uncomfortable. so he found what he thought to be a quiet spot to remove the pin, and had to make a quick getaway from the man to save himself from embarrassment. thankfully, he had a beetle turbo and got away in time.
