This is a video of Golden Sun 1 and 2 running on darkchen's GBA emu for iPlayer. Golden Sun 1 runs better than the second, but is still quite prone to slow down and distorted music and sound effects especially during battle sequences. It's generally playable though. The sequel performs worse and suffers from constant slowdowns even when walking around.

  • On the Internet I've read that some 3D gba games(like golden sun) don't work very well on this emulator, while 2D games(like super mario, metroid, zelda or final fantasy) work perfectly!

  • if you want to have a portatil emulator machine buy a GP2X WIZ whicha has a 533 mhz processor and you can overclock it to 800 without any damage (i have vey good experiences)

  • @jered91 The 3in1. By far.

  • dude do u get glitch from summonings like Neptune ... like a black screen comes up but ur still attacking

  • does anyone know if mother 3 (the game lucas appeared in brawl)

    works on the iplayer

  • This is how GS runs on the best PSP emulators, seriously its due to the games compression or something because most emulators have problems with it, includint the latest Wii GBA emu

  • thank god i kept my ds lite lol.

  • is the iplayer also able to play nds roms?

  • epic fail!

  • @gtas123-

Fool. Having more memory and CPU does NOT make the DSi more powerful than the N64. N64 had its own 3D hardware and had its own sub processors and such to help it display high polygon 3D. N64 can render more polygons at once. Several tens of thousands more than DS can. It will NEVER be possible to emulate N64 on DS OR DSi. God, what stupidity... Also, cartridge storage has NOTHING to do with memory. That's like saying a PC with a 1000GB hard drive is more powerful than one with 500GB.
