Alan Carr remides me so much of Franky Howard..

Hahahaha! Brilliant! Sometimes my folks would let me stay up and watch it. I didn't get half of the jokes but still thought it was great. Watched all the repeats many years later.

Fantastic - I love the bit at 1.42 when he makes that " I know what's coming next " expression...a real genius

Does anyone remember the Sword fight gag Frankie told? I remember it being funny and going something like 'He thrust and I parried, I parried and he thrust..' and then a great punch like which eludes me! Any help please send me a message.

I think I can class your comment as pure irony.
Frankie is brill. I saw him live in Deptford in the early 90's, I remember his last words as he left the stage and gave a victory sign,'up Deptford'.
