Faik Mosaic

Sometimes people ask me, "what do you do?" Well, here is an example. We were building a NY subway station set and needed some of the famous tile mosaic signs in the background. It's about getting a good representation of the mosaic in the short time allowed to prep the episodes. If I had more time I could really obsess on it, or better yet we'd pay someone to do a real one. However, these look very good on camera.

This time-lapse represents between 3 and 4 hours of work, if I had to string it all together. I edited out a few dead ends and things.

This piece ended up being ten feet long.
