This is a 70's news piece about a whale that was beached and died. The State of Oregon decided that the best way to get rid of the carcass was to blow it up (??).
The best line in the video "carried by the wind, the cloud moved inland..." :)

hey look buddy...im an engineer...that means i solve problems...for instance....how am i gonna clear a big dead whale from a beach?....the answer...use dynamite....and if that don't work....use more dynamite :D

Actually it washed up dead, & they wanted to experiment with a new idea (still no idea although as to why dynamite lol) they generally either bury the whale carcass in the sand doze it off shore for a barge to carry it out to sea. BUT still funny as fuck and no idea why TNT???? brilliant idea mr. city engineer
