Enontekiö or Hetta in Finnish Lapland was destroyed by German troops during WW II (The Lapland War 1944-1945:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lapland_War )
This short documentary from 1951 shows how the people of Lapland, the Sami, are rebuilding the village. The comments are in Finnish, but I put in English subtitels (not a word-for-word translations though).
