  • To clarify -- It's the body framework that's made of wood, from the firewall aft, just as many cars up until the mid-1930's were built. Start with a wooden form, then cover it with sheet metal, then add fenders, etc. All Morgans from 1909 to present except the 26 fiberglass Plus 4 Plus models of hte mid 1960's (and a few specials) have the body framed in wood like this. Chassis rails are steel "Z" section on most cars built after 1934; earlier V-twin three wheelers had steel tube chassis.

  • do you go to the fryberg fair in fryberg main and there is a show coming up at newengland drag way in epping nh its a street car and diesel day and there is drag racing

  • And they still make these you know, don't think they have V8s though. Not much has changed over the years.

  • It's true they do have wooden frames. Nice to see the Land Rover badge on it, probably came from a Discovery. There were also 5 litre versions of the Rover V8 that are still used in the Bowler Wildcat.

  • I've heard that Morgan's have wooden frames.

  • nice

  • kewl
