Ah, gotta love a lockdown. Bambooshoot is essentially Horus + Sorcerer Of Dark Magic in a 1-Trib. All you need to safely summon it is Trunade/Stun/Solemn & you've pretty much rendered their S/Ts useless!

Of course, you still have to worry about monster cards. Hence, the trip Books, Warnings & D-Prisons to handle them. Running them in 3s helps you draw them easier. Divine Wrath & DCK stops monster effects while Oppression stops SS.

I believe 1 more Divine Wrath would do wonders but space issues. Lol. Looks like I could build this in real life later on if I do get the chance.

@NanayaX Well, tbqh, if i had the space, I'd rather go for the 3rd DCK. Wrath is ok, but the main reason why I only run 1 is because of the cost - sometimes you wouldn't want to save an otherwise useful card just so that you can use it as fodder. Your call, of course :)

With cards like Lightning Vortex, Mirror Force (destroy monsters), Cactus Bouncer (prevent SS), Dimensional Prison (remove attacking monster), Solemn Judgment, Solemn Warning, etc, etc...

There are many cards, that help Bamboo Shoot to survive, mostly traps.

Naturia Bamboo Shoot: If this card is Tribute Summoned by Tributing a "Naturia" monster, while this card remains face-up on the field, your opponent cannot activate Spell or Trap Cards.

How come I never thought of this lockdown deck style.
