004 - ActivPrimary 3 - A basic introduction

In this tutorial you'll learn the basics of Activprimary 3, the interactive whiteboard software from Promethean. You'll learn how to setup a new flipchart, add, edit and format text, as well as how to use the pen tool to add annotations and highlighting. Finally you'll learn how to manage the pages of a flipchart file, so you can change their order to suit your lesson.

If you have never used ActivPrimary 3 before, this is a great place to start.

The software can be downloaded from the Promethean website, with a valid serial number. I don't have any plans to produce a tutorial on how to download the software.

ActivPrimary is made by Promethean. It is the software that used to come free with their interactive whiteboards, but it can now be used on any board. It has now been replaced by ActivInspire, but this is very similar to ActivPrimary.
