I fly charter. Started at 45k as FO. I feel sorry for the pilots who get suckered into the airlines. Go 135... Get a couple types and then find a 91 operation so you can have a normal life and make good pay.

Wait if he can only make 19,000 - 25,000 USD a year how can he afford to build his own home you need major money for that

@BIGCHRIS7600 And $22.89 is just for the 80 hours a month they fly. That's like making $11.45 an hour for 40 hours a week! Shame!

That, I think is the saddest video I have seen. These dedicated men & women have several 100's lives to protect and serve daily from one route to another and they love their jobs and come from aviation in their blood and their families and I'm shocked to learn that they get paid a mere 20-30K p/year. Compare this to pilots who fly Qatar Airways/Emirates Airlines and South African airlines. Anyways, thanks for posting this video and the least anyone can do is to say THANKS to them after a flight
