Certain people will always love their stereotypes. I think the majority of Americans I know have a good sense of geography and world events. Could just be where I live, but I've never found Europeans to be more versed in world affairs by any means. But I do know they love to feel better. I suppose the US became the superpower it is by chance and a bunch of dummies created this place and its successes.

@SilverLovesPink I don't think you're douchebags at all. But it's a fact that world geography is not very well taught in US schools. There are several studies to support this. My own experience of visiting the US on about 12 different occasions also convinces me that this is the case.

@iKR1PT0N Yes we have to learn the whole world, except the little islands like Seychelle or Fiji, and we learn Africa only perfunctorily, but in my opinion its a bit nonsense, there are lot of shit holes we had to learn. Of course there are a lot of other schools where, the students dont learn anything, but i speak about the average hungarian schools.
