I cant think of a SINGLE Cuban rep here in Miami who has done a thing for the non rich but give speechs. MANY Cubans I know will not even consider a Cuban anymore for political office . Look at Rubios actual history and dont get fooled by his TYPICAL Miami style speechs . I live in Miami the standards are so low be it police dept-dept of health-etc the corruption is sickening . NO THANKS not for me and other Cubans no more Miami Cubans for higher office

We need to vote this Rubio as the NEXT Gov. Charlie Chist and the other sen and rep's are doing NOTHING !!!!! It is a disgrace, we need less Gov and taxes are out of control!!!!!! Rubio for Governor!!!!!

If the property tax had been on land values only, all real estate speculation would have been prevented because most increase of real estate values is the speculative increase of land value. Buildings do not increase in value, they depreciate. The low tax on land value encourages land speculation. People are fed up with land/real estate speculation although they may not realize it yet. Cap or eliminate the property tax and especially that part on land value and you will see mega speculation.

ABC missed the real story. It failed to point out that it was the VOTERS who created this mess because they voted for Save Our Homes, to stick it to the newcomers, businesses, renters and first time home buyers so they could get a tax break. Now it is coming home to roost.

Good start, but tip of the iceburg. Special interest lobbyists got Developer's exemptions from impact fees. Govt budgets out of control to fund special interest projects. Insurance lobbyists rule our State. 50% increases? Get the facts: 200 to 60% increases in both insurance and taxes.
