Real unemployment is easily above 20%. They intentionally manipulate the numbers.

Part time work data is available from the BLS too. Part time work for economic reason has dropped by 247,000 in the last year while total number of employed has increased by 1,714,000, meaning the number of full time employees have increased by ~2 million in the last 12 months. Though to put that into perspective we lost 8,736,000 from our job peak in Jan 08 to our job low in Feb 2010, and only gained 5.5M back by today and that don't account for our population growth.

I think Ron Paul would've made a MUCH better president than Obama has been. Obama and his administration are a joke, in my opinion.

I think the numbers are somewhat misleading. I'm a union journeyman electrician. I travel many places throughout my state doing work, and at all the places I do work -- like Best Buy distribution centers, for example -- they're only hiring temps and/or part-time employees.

So, if I'm not mistaking, temps and part-time employees show up as job growth -- even though they aren't working enough hours to pay the bills. Where are the extra jobs for the millions of illegals that Obama loves so much?

The fact that people think Obama is any different than Bush is just staggering, considering Obama has expanded and maintained nearly every single policy Bush had.

Two sides of the same coin, at least Bush was cool and made me laugh.

1,194,000 more people employed then 4 year ago. There where 133,631,000 people employed in Jan 09 and 134,825,000 people employed in Jan 2013. This is not a increase from government jobs as the private sector jobs data show a job growth of the past 4 years of 1,913,000.
