Hello! ma honey
Hello! ma ragtime gal
Send me a kiss by wire
Baby, ma heart's on fire!
If you refuse me

sodium isn't a neurotransmitter... it has to do with movement of sodium through ion channels as a result of high sodium content outside of neuronal cells (it basically screws up the concentration gradient). sodium will rush in, depolarizing the cell which then allows acetylcholine (the neurotransmitter) to be release onto the muscles. the neurotransmitter binds receptors on the cell, depolarizing the muscle cell (by calcium influx). the muscle then contracts (by a long list of other mechanisms.
