What a wonderful film! I saw the world premiere of The Women and the Waves at the Santa Barbara Int'l Film Festival. A full house, very enthusiastic audience. This is certain to be a historic film about women in surfing. It's done in such a heartfelt way, superb editing and fantastic soundtrack(including a fresh approach to Miserlou and other classic surf guitar tunes).
