When Robinson "BROKE THE COLOR LINE" he "kicked down the door" and the game CHANGED FOREVER...w/ Pride (he got HIS)...but the door remains bolted shut after decades of "so-called" PRIDE. @blkfyre1 The competition really was more of a fun thing...kinda like an Americal Idol re-creation. It was nothing that I took seriously. I made the remark that I really wasn't that impressed based on the fact that I have spent a lot of time in Nashville. I have seen some of the talent that is playing in the bars down there. Even though Miko certainly has talent, I wouldn't say that she has anymore than the ones who are struggling to make it in Nashville. Just my opinion.

NOW THAT SURPRISED THE HECK OUTTA ME, so I delved deeper! Then eventually, you "reveal" she once beat you in a singing competition many years ago? That piece of the puzzle brought everything together! It's nice though that you sincerely "hope she does well". Looking @ her website , she's done it, and still doing it!

@blkfyre1 you got it wrong, I have nothing against her, I hope she does well. I would never have even brought the performance up had you not made the remark about her demolishing me. As far as the Bonnie Riatt Song...when you are singing for a Grand Ole Opry Crowd... give then what they wanna hear. If your best song isn't even a Country song, how do they take you seriously as a Country artist??

@Clint8179 No I don't want you to believe that, yet it's highly probably, though not confirmed factual as of yet. Remember...Rissi was not your "average opry performer". She is/was EXTRAORDINARY...only to be compared to The VERY BEST in Country Music! She is/was a real threat to the staus quo!
