John Frusciante and Flea Facing Off in Grand Rapids

A fun face off late in the show between Flea and John.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers live in Grand Rapids, Michigan at the Van Andel Arena. 2 November 2006. Sorry for lousy picture quality- was in the balcony and my camera wasn't sure what to focus on most of the time. Sound quality is alright, I think. Sorry for the snippets but I was saving memory... still good fun!

Hi! Anthony sang the first line of the chorous and said we'd hear the rest later, but it never happened! I was disappointed... I think they might have played it in Detroit the next night, but we didn't get it in GR... Sorry!

I dunno being up front at gigs isn't all its cracked up to be you can't move, are squashed against your mates & can only pretty much jump up & down + you gotta be there like 3 hours before the show & keep your place.

I prefer a bit of room to go nuts & dance round

Great concert

Still have the hat I got there, doesn't fit anymore sadly, the most pleasant surprise was when they busted into 'nobody weird like me' they don't play those ones anymore.

I was on flea's side, real close, but not in the center area.

I used to live down the street from Kiedis' aunt and uncle, they were close family friends. But Anthony visited his aunt and uncle in Kalamazoo (where they live, about an hour south of GR) only once during the 10 years I lived there and I was out of town, I gave my parents HELL for telling me the wrong time he'd be visiting. He personally signed my brother's By The Way album though (all my rhcp is in itunes) and even drew some art and designs on it. Apparently he goes by Tony from friends/family

Haha, I had better seats than you, I was there at the same concert. I was up closer to the stage and to the left. I was less than 100 feet from flea. It was sweet.
