UKat! - German/Last Day of RISD

So I have received many requests that I do a vlog in German. But because the vast majority of my audience consists of English speakers, I didn't think it would be wise to do a whole vlog series in German. Instead, I made a single video to prove my German language skills :)

Interesting helium fact. In the US they're looking at helium to use in gas chambers for execution. It makes you talk high pitched, and robs your brain of oxygen. So, enough exposure to it will kill you.

@pal020701 Thank you so, so much! It helped a lot! I love german. And actually those things I wrote where a little advanced than what I'm learning in the course, it's the first time I write something "different" in german ~ so I'm happy I wasn't that bad! And google told me "kühl" means 'cool' xD

however, you made some mistakes: "Ich bin Brasilianier/Brasilianierin(=B­razilian)" (Brasilien = Brazil)

"Kennst du eine coole Sängerin, die du mir verraten kannst?" Don´t ever use "kühl" in that context! The weather is "kühl", the refrigerator is "kühl" but a person is "cool" hehe :D

Another comment — your helium inhalation silliness is so incongruous with how much older and more mature you look in this video in comparison to your previous ones. You've always seemed so mature for your age in your perspicacious outlook on life, your shrewd observations of people, and your keen judgments about the world around you. You must have been a precocious child, Kat. I know you'll be successful.

A fun, lighthearted (no pun intended) video, but in the future I'd recommend the use of English subtitles in your German language videos so your most avid fans, like myself, could understand them better. Danke schön!
