Nyabinghi drumming performance during field service trip of the Jamaica Field Service Project. Through the JAFSP, university students and professors from across the US travel and study in Jamaica. While in Jamaica, students do volunteer work in the schools and community, while also studying the traditional music and culture of Jamaica. These guest drummers are recorded performing on the south coast of Jamaica, as part of the spring break trip 2009. Anyone interested in participating in one of the (5) yearly trips of the JAFSP to Jamaica should contact info@jafieldservice.com, or visit the program website at www.jamaicafieldservice.com

I requested the Jamaica Field Service drummers for my wedding May 8th, 2010 in Ocho Rios. We had 80 guests coming from Canada, USA and Jamaica to attend the wedding. I had high expectations for the drummers because their performance was a surprise present for my groom. My expectations were far exceeded. WOW, they were fantastic, I can't say that enough. It was a pleasure to work with them. I highly recommend them to anyone hosting an event. Thanks so much for this positive experience.
