@AntBanks2626 DeMartini did say that and head structural engineer, John Skilling, said that the structure could withstand the impact of a 707, estimating it would take several impacts to cause collapse. However they were referring to the mechanical collision and not the exothermic consequences of it, which was the reason for the collapse of the upper floors. As I said before, there had been no previous case of airliners colliding with buildings, so didn't understand the effects of the fuel fire

@AntBanks2626 Of course they are going to insist their design was up to anything thrown at it, it's not in their interest to declare anything otherwise. If they did, it would be effectively saying they weren't up to the job. Where is this evidence of a conspiracy? There is plenty for incompetence at many levels, including the US government, but nothing conclusive of conspiracy. As for my country, it is the United Kingdom, not the USA; I just have a more objective and unbiased perspective of 9/11

@samurai2828 dont worry about that guy bro..men like him dont matter anyways...what is a person like him good for anyhow? Lets say he was to figure it out...What would such an impotent minded person be good for?...I know...nothing...this country has no more room for lame, apathetic, useless cowards such as him...IF THE WHOLE MUSLIM POPULATION CANT BE LOOKED AT AS TERRORISTS BECAUSE OF A FEW EVIL PEOPLE, THEN THIS COUNTRY CAN NOT BE SEEN AS THE LAND OF THE BRAVE BECAUSE THE ACTIONS OF A FEW...

@wierdwesterner oh yeah..if you need a link to the interviews with the design engineers I can provide that to you...I can tell your the type of person who believes that building 7 went down due to fire. You also believe that there is no clear conspiracy here even though there is a mountain of evidence proving otherwise. Your country has changed for the worst, your money stolen, country has murdered millions,4 wars later and you still think the troops are fighting for our freedom in Iraq..sad
-
@wierdwesterner Well first off everything you just said was an assumption, since you are so smart you would understand the construction project manager's name was Frank A. DeMartini...He was interviewed explaining how the building could handle the impact of multiple airliners. Now I understand that he could definitely be wrong but how do you explain the numerous first responders, eye witnesses and videos of clear explosions before the planes even hit? How do you explain building 7? ill wait
-
@AntBanks2626 No it wasn't. Do you know why I know that? Because in the 1960s, when the buildings were designed, air crash investigation was in it's infancy. We didn't understand how aircraft crashed so we couldn't project how a building would respond to such a crash. The first test crashes and research into collisions with buildings came in the 1970s when Learjets were used in practical tests on nuclear reactor housings. Don't make up stories to suit your agenda, you look like a fool.

EVERYONE!! THIS BUILDING IS FIREPROOF AND DID NOT COLLAPSE...WHY KEEP TURNING YOUR BACK ON THE FACT THAT 911 WAS A SCAM CONSPIRED BY TERRORISTS INSIDE OUR GREAT NATION...STOP BEING COWARDS AND DO YOUR HOMEWORK...911 WAS AN INSIDE JOB! NANO THERMITE WAS FOUND ON SITE! BUILDING SEVEN ALSO COLLAPSED WITH NO DEBRI DAMAGE AND MINIMAL FIRE!! THE OWNER MADE 6 BILLION DOLLARS IN INSURANCE MONEY FROM THE POLICY HE TOOK OUT 2 WEEKS BEFORE! THERE WERE MASSIVE EXPLOSIONS HEARD BY 1ST RESPONDERS ON VIDEO!!!!
-
@wierdwesterner yes it was designed for that...you obviously had not done your research before posting such a fallacious remark....the engineers that designed those towers specifically reinforced the build so each could handle multiple airliner impacts due to its altitude or height. They were interviewed and did not believe that those plane impacts alone could drop the towers. scientific data known as PHYSICS says so...and that science is sooo good they still build structures using it...

@wierdwesterner I don't agree with you at all. WTC was designed for airline hits. Let's agree to disagree.

@samurai2828 It is very much marketing, fireproof is a keyword that all City Halls require from developers. If it isn't "fireproof" it doesn't get built or financed. Pride. The level of fire-resistivity varies widely from design to design. Some are very good, others not so good, NONE are perfect. These buildings are designed to counter office fires, which don't burn at high temps however WTC was not designed to resist an aircraft carrying tens of tonnes of fuel flying into it at 200-300mph.
fire regardless of accelerant burns at the exact temperature....so it wouldnt matter if there was jet fuel or not....WTC shouldnt have collapse since it had a steel frame

@DocumentaryDude LOL. Good one. Have fun trying to weld something with a disposable plastic cigarette lighter then. Fire burns at a range of different temperatures, so much so that you get different colours of flame depending upon temperature. Where do you think the term "white hot" or "red hot" comes from?
