totally agree - that's why competitions like these, especially Cliburn, are so exhausting, emotionally and physically... probably mentally as well

i dont know the conditions of this famous competition, but to choose this piece, one of the greatest, longest, most emotionally powerful of all Chopin's works to be judged on... that really takes some kind of courage.

playing music is emotional, thats kind of nasty to compare her facial expressions to that... i make these expressions while playing piano, and im not chinese, plus it's interesting to watch - you probably playing piano is like watching a robot play = BORING!!!
