@Satisfocalypse well ya i guess a chevy 5.3 will sound a lil dif from a hemi 5.7 just a thought sick truck tho lol

Put the VT on yesterday. Quiet on cruise just like it was supposed to be. Only problem was it rattled on deceleration, loud clanging from the valve, especially when revving in park. Gave the exhaust note a fluttery sound on light acceleration, otherwise gave a clear, deep tone when accelerating. Popped it off and threw my 12" Dynomax Bullet back on. Going to send it back for a refund. Dynomax is the best exhaust company to deal with and I would recommend the VT if it weren't for the rattling.

@rdbc92 Loud =/= sounding good. For the last month I drove straight piped on my 4.8l and it was way too raspy. Loud, but raspy. Hated it.

u shud just run straight pipes out the side, my buddy has a single cab hemi and all he did was cut the muffler off and ran it out the side and its loud as hell

Mine does the same thing but doesnt bother me. A valve in a muffler is going to make noise. Reason I bought mine was because I wanted a nice sound with low drone. I have a Corsa on my other truck which is awesome and no drone but I didnt want to spend that kind of money again for my daily driver. Another muffler you can look into would be the Corsa DB series mufflers. They have low to no drone.

Youll be rid of most of the drone. I hear alittle but I dont have much pipe in my exhuast and my muffler is under the cab.

Its an DJM 4/7 drop kit. Its front upper and lower control drop arms and rear is a flip kit. Thanks!
