No offense, I agree the vid is dark, but if you claim to own such pokies, then you'd be able to distinguish pokie patterns between a regalis and a metallica. Under NO circumstance this looks anything like regalis. I own all the available pokies in the hobby including the elusive P.smithi and P.hanumavilasumica and I can tell the major differences between each pokie even if I have a dark pic.

Is pretty wonderful..... and are so difficult to acquire.... u are really lucky!!

This must be a "dark form" specimen? Beautiful :)

Thumbs up if (at 0.52 sec) you were hoping that spider was going for his face!!

@boggsy117 For pokies, yes. But still not a beginner T. Especially if you dont want to pay $200+ for a spidering thats less than an inch & that may or may not live to adulthood.

are these docile

The dark lighting in this vid is just asking for trolls to come on here and be like durr that's not a P metallcaia1!1. Wow. You should air a new one considering this one is 3 years old and theres still self-proclaimed Pokie experts on here telling you its not a metallica. Unless you like the attention and if so then more power to you. The biggest difference between pokies is the carapace, people. Other than the carapace, theyre almost all the same with a few exceptions to color like this species

Well it has a funny resemblence to my 16 p metallicas then. Learn some more about T´s before you tell people what it not is. This is a poecilotheria metallica.
-
Wouw, alot of people comment on this not being a p metallica. I guess they dont know about poecilotheria then. Because it looks like all my 16 p metallica. but hey, maybe i dont see so well;-)
This IS poecilotheria metallica as piggy237 says.

Man...its quite funny how many T 'owners/experts' there are here saying this isnt a P. Metallica! It sooooo is lol! Yeah the lighting maybe isnt the best but its still easy to tell what we'r looking at. Anyway...not to worry. Great video dude!
no offence meant but i own 2 metallica's , regallis , striata , rufilita and other pokies thats no metallica ... maybe the vid to dark to see colourins but defo looks more like a regallis

@kevgra1 There is no offense as such taken. But given that we are NOT beginner T keepers, we have quite a selection. We KNOW exactly what we have and find it inconceivable that you would think we dont know what that tarantula is.
We still have her and she is very blue in a Duh . . . Poecilotheria Metallica kind of way. Not to be mistaken with all the other 'BLUE' pokies currently available (irony)
If i get time i will edit the video to include some photos at the end to educate folk.

Looks like a P. Pederseni to me ^^
@ DanielRKennard uhm.. you really think so? I think it doesn't look anywhere near a metallica.
