I show how to connect a PTZ camera with a RS-485 interface, to a computer. Will need software PTZ Controller, from SerialPortTool.Com.

After extensive research I came to suspect the picture would look a tiny bit brighter without the lid on the camera lenses.

i didn't see any visual. so if u have to pre-set from a far distance how do u know where the camera is pointing?

Where did you get the RS-232 to RS-45 Interphase

I do the same thing, using the same software the last month.
Everything works very well.
