Bach - Invention Number 8 - Very Slow

Hi, I'm just a college kid who wishes she had applied herself more when she was taking lessons. This piece took several hours to recover. YAY FOR SUMMAR!

Constructive criticisms are more than welcome. I can't for the life of me keep my fingers curved, and worse, keep my pinkies down. I wish I could play it faster. I wish I had more control over the piano and could keep constant tempo at just this speed.

No matter, Bach is so fun to play!

*Just make sure you don't bob your wrists up and down. My piano teacher taught me to manage this by placing a pencil on my wrist while playing and trying to keep it from falling. Keep up the good work!

Ah, good advice, thanks! I'm sure I've been told this before. I am actually nowhere near a piano as far as I'm aware, but I will definitely work on it during winter break. :) Thanks again for the comment!

That isn't slow at all! Some people just play it too fast. Sounds great to me.

the speed is fine i guess its all about personal taste, on the plus side your rhythm is great very exact, but i would say try to play the 8th notes more staccato and the 16ths more legato to get a better sence of the melodies crossing hands, (this is the typical way of playing this piece) just my advice dont wanna sound like a jerk if you would like to hear how i play it, i belive i have a video of it, on my channel under classical. im by no means perfect either but just offering some ideas.
