A look at the local punk scene on the LA show "2 on the Town" centers mainly on a Black Flag gig at the Starwood and emphisizes the violence at the shows. Chuck Dukowski tells host Steve Edwards just what he wants to hear. Circa 1981.

  • Holy Hell!! Where did you find this?? I have been wondering where to find this footage. I'm on this clip--LOL--man, that was a long time ago! The way they edited this episode really upset us back in the day--made it look worse than it was. Thanks for posting this ancient footage :-)

  • So long ago. We remember these early days of LA punk rock with fondness. Makes you miss when the music scene was actually controlled by the kids and bands, and not american idol top 40 media. Not sure if anything like this will ever come around again, but it sure was something that can never be duplicated again. The local LA news had a heyday with punk rock back then. "Lock your doors" They are coming!!!!
