Ok, im gonna say this.. French shouldnt play anything heavy, that accent makes them sound like wusses. They dont play Mesa's, they play Boogies.. I think they need to stick to the Boutique stuff too, i think that is a french word.

My amp has a power amp input designed for running a preamp through the tube power amp. Could i use this like a tube preamp? If so, what output would i use on the pedal?

anyone know if this would be suitible for hard rock/ classic metal? And is the idea that channel one is a rhythm channel, with channel two being a solo kina channel? thanks

Yes you can use first channel as rythm and second channel as solo.
For the first part of the question You'll have to try it yourself cause we don't necesserally put the same things under the same words. I know this doesn't help a lot but...
For me for example I would find the first channel lacks a little bit of distortion to suit hard rock but it will perhaps be enough for others so...
