As the ronin warrior Shiren, youll wander the old country, encountering dungeons filled with snow, sakura, walls of fire, and more. Control up to 3 party members and stay alert as you wander through dungeons, collecting items and outthinking your enemies! Easy mode lets newcomers find a foothold in the dungeons while Normal mode presents a more rigorous challenge for veterans.

@alicemudgarden123 There was a JRPG inspired PC game called Anachronox. It came out around 2000 so it's graphics are pretty outdated but I hear it's good.

@alicemudgarden123 There are some, but they are so awful. Most RPG's have an "anime look" because most of them comes from japan or are based upon j-rpg's

@F3tusRape I wish they would make an RPG or a strategy RPG that wasn't Anime style... Phantom Brave, Disgaea, Final Fantasy, Makai Kingdom, Soul Nomad, Persona, .Hack... I can get into them, but I wish there was one that wasn't anime style. I think that could actually get some money & interest from people who aren't into the whole anime style & talking animals & shit :P

I was extremely disappointed that the years-old DS release has more features and a better difficulty than this Wii game. Hopefully we'll see Shiren DS2 translated but I won't hold my breath.
