The Resistance perform "Late One Night" Live at the Cat Club on the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles, CA, on Feb. 22, 2008.

The Resistance is a five piece, blues rock band with a punk attitude and a metal edge. The Resistance was formed two years ago by frontman Billy Falcone and guitarist / singer Scott Gripe. One year later, Billy and Scott went on to meet bassist / singer Satoshi Ichiyanagi and his twin brother, drummer Yutaka Ichiyanagi, and formed the main frame of the band. After another year, the four asked Chris Sestric to be their lead guitarist. Currently, The Resistance is championing a campaign of shows that kicked off with the debut of its new lineup in pursuit of management.

Billy hails from South Jersey and is influenced by Gn'Fn'R's and Björk. Scotty hails from Colorado Springs, CO and is influenced by Pantera and Alice in Chains. Sato and Yuta hail from Kobe, Japan and are influenced by Mötley Crüe and The New York Dolls. Chris hails from Pittsburgh, PA and is influenced by Steve Vai and Avenged Sevenfold.
