Great lift. but was this filmed with a potato?

@primevalindividual Good athletes may not take roids, but TOP athletes in sports that require power and or huge muscles all take roids. Not one competitor in the Mr O is drug free. Not a single one! That's why they have drug free powerlifting and bodybuilding competitions. If it's possible to compete against Scott Medelson and Jay Cutler without roids, why is there drug free organizations? I was a heavy lifter so I witnessed it first hand. Even the drug free competitions has cheaters.

@Denver542 I was saying the exact same thing at the exact same time i saw your comment. I think it was Nathan Jones.

Was that Nathan Jones at the end, in the audience?

@ZZaarraakkii It makes it easier to get the results too. Going to the gym when your testosterone is at baseline is such a DRAG, but when your testosterone is very very high, you're unstoppable. It's second nature to push yourself hard when it's that high.

@justingrover its a motorbike. read the info.. "The apparatus used in this clip is a giant platform built on a hinge with an olympic bar attached to it, allowing strongmen to bench press unusual objects like refrigerators and baby elephants. In this clip 1998 World's Strongest Man Magnus Samuelsson is benching a 480lb motorbike...12 times!"

@ramadan11111 I doubt that, check out his video on the related video section of him doing 595lb free weight barbell for two reps. 480lb for 12 on free weight certainly seems feasible for him.

480? we dont even see the weight or plates
True: many top athlete's do use steroids, but not ALL of them do. That is a hasty and ignorant generalization. Also, the things that they are able to accomplish are not just because of steroids; they have to bust their butts in training to do what they do. Why is it that someone always blames it on steroids when someone else is simply better than them at a given sport, lift, etc.?? Couldn't possibly be that they had to work at it. What's hard work anyways??

Well, yeah, you have to lift the weight either way, so steroids don't simply give you the results. But! Steroids DO make you able to get better results, otherwise, why would people take them?
