  • Normal light consists of waves vibrating in all different directions. Light that is polarized tends to have more waves vibrating in one direction. Polarized lenses block light except for one orientation. Since reflected light off of some surfaces tends to be polarized, polarized lenses oriented at 90 degrees to the surface will block much of the reflected light, which is what makes them so useful to fishermen to see past the reflected surface glare on water.

  • They are all good but u should try Lindberg, awesome!!!

  • this has got to be the most annoying add

  • Oakley !!!got 7 pairs of frogskins

  • Bought a pair of polarized sunglasses from Walmart for $20 and they're honestly the best sunglasses I've ever owned. Never will I go back to unpolarized lenses :)

  • i use to love oakley. i've seriously had over 20 pairs since 1992. i always figured they were the standard when it came to quality. they are definetely innovative. then i found out about costa del mar and their 580polorized lens. i will never buy another oakley again. costa's are way more comfortable overall and makes life look like the movie avatar. you have to see it to believe it. haha i sound like i work for the stinkin company. they're amazing though.

  • Did I just was a semi-useful ExpertVillage video?

  • Best sunnies I've ever had for flying are Serengetis, they fit great under a headset. Bit expensive and the frames break easy if you bash your flightbag around. I now just wear Arnettes for work or a couple cheap pairs of unpolarised things I bought at a petrol station and keep in my car haha.
