Perhaps. However, I feel that Rocky Marciano looked much better in this match and was much harder to hit due to his unique way of moving in and just charging with punches that are quite painful and pinpoint and so I think that after 4:32, when Marciano lands that hard right haymaker, Joe knew it was the beginning of the end. Rocky marciano showed with this finish that he can not only hit with just one hand, but he is able to hit so hard with his right right after hitting with his left hook.

Wow Marciano had his own heavybag weighing in at 270 thats insane but just by watching the training footage you can tell Rocky is very determined

Excellent vid! Joe was a hard puncher! Watch him on the bag, starting @1:34. The bag is the same size as the one Foreman hits in a youtube vid entitled;"George Foreman Hits Heavybag", which everyone makes so much out of. The effect of Walcott's punches are equal to, or greater than GF's on the bag. I have posted previously, that Marciano took punches from Walcott in their 1st bout, and that they were as hard as any hvywt had ever thrown in a ring...and this video proves it! RM had an iron jaw!

strange fight, was hoping walcott would do better than that. was he really so hurt he couldnt get up? didnt look THAT hurt. I think he had a flashback of the 1st fight and thought to himself : "let me end this thing now and take the money".

@ICEmanIZZY37 Looked pretty fast, but they could have counted to 25 and Walcott wasn't going to get up. I think after the beating he suffered the first fight, he just didn't want to go through it again. He probably also noticed Marciano had improved a lot in that year, and decided he didn't have the stomach for it.
