ended up keeping them and getting all their shots. They went from living in the woods to being house dogs pretty quick. Saw online where a guy in North Carolina has had his 3 year old glen terrier trained to interact with elderly people at a local nursing home. I can see my two doing something similar one day. The y have warmed my heart tremendously.

these dogs are amazing. A neighbor moved away and left 2 4-5 month old puppies behind. They stayed on their own for about 2 months in the woods around my house and my dad started feeding them. Having never been fond of most dogs, I am blown away by how much I have grown to love them. Cant find much info about them online, as most of it seems to be paraphrased out of another book.

how old is your dog?
that dog is very rare.
how did you come across him?
Yes we really love our Dallas. Too bad he is blind as we are his seeing EYE people! He depends on our voices and his nose. A lot of people think he is a puppy. We feed him the Barf diet and I throw out a raw chicken leg out in the back yard for him to find. Doesn't take him long at all to find. BTW there is a glen of imaal mailing list. dont have the link but you should be able to google for it.

Dallas is 11 years old and yes he is rare. Glen of Imaal was on front page of a dog magazine about 12 years ago. He is a people dog. Do a google search on Glen of Imaal Terrier and get lots of info. They were recently added to the AKC.
