  • A how to video on wiring polarity switch for turnouts would be great .. Or a unit that does this automatically ..

  • @MrMuddshovel: Maybe in a video to come, But in "N" scale most turnot frogs are insulated. If I can get some parts, I might post a video on how to wire a frog.

  • Good presentation! Good clarification on setting up your DCC blocks for separation.

  • @RRSalvageMan: Thanks, Not the best video, but it should give every one an idea of what a DCC friendly turnout is. If you look you can find some great pictures on the web that show how electricity flows in a DCC friendly turnout.

  • awesome video man & how to !!!!

  • @BALD8BIL: Thanks

  • @IMRROcom so are my HO peco turnouts I bought 2 mono frogs I may show u first ahaha heheh..

  • @IMRROcom It's especially informative to those who are new to the hobby and new to DCC! Guys like yourself are motivating me to do a few "how to" videos myself on my specialty areas. Keep up the good work! :)

  • @MonsterBuddy10: We will see, We will see. I hope both yards look good when done.

  • @TrashMan2008: I got hit with a bad turn out. it was insulated at one end and short engines would stall on it some times, but when I tested it on layout it looked to be fine as the points were moving curent to the other end of the switch. When the loco hit the points the points moved and made an open so we had a stall. I found about 1 in 20 or so turnouts is bad. I can still use them on spurs etc. but have to add feeders to them. No insulators next to the turn out.
