@larryswindcatcher See the VAWT Forum, and I will be nice if you will. :-)

@sjh7132 In reply to sjh7132 and itsandbit: I know that both of you are critics from Windgen.org, I challenge both of you to take what information that you have gained off of the prony brake video and assign a fractional horsepower rating to it. No fair cheating backbiter!

@larryswindcatcher Ok, you guys, it is January the 8th 2012 and I just posted a prony break demonstration. I will be posting other test as well under different conditions. This test is a fractional braking horsepower test, I will let my smart-A critics post their assignment as to the meaning in braking horsepower.

@larryswindcatcher All I see is it turning. I have no trouble believing it turns. Please post your method of measuring power and how you calculate the results so they can be verified. Also I believe you are claiming 1 HP (750 watts.) In what speed wind do you see that power?

For you skeptics who can’t believe their own lying eyes, remember that the turbine dynamic is competing against a 12 feet in diameter propeller driven wind mill.
Come on you propeller head skeptics, bring out your best 12 feet in diameter propeller driven wind mill and we will see which dynamic is superior. Ha. Ha. My first victory is that the turbine dynamic runs safe and quiet so that it can operate in close proximity to people -like in the park, in your back yard or on your roof top.

Itsandbits1 said: “To say I am skeptical is putting it mildly but I am ready to be amazed”. It is my experience that people who can not believe their own lying eyes when the turbine dynamic is turning right in front of them- never get it. Notice the turbine cone? Patience, I will post my Prony brake results and the twin four foot diameter air cooled permanent magnet generators soon. New Sony Bloggie needs to record for publishing first.
I have a new demonstration video of Prony brake testing.

Geez, you guys, you can’t wait for the video? My base line for 1hp is about 17, 18 miles an hour. At about 20, 21 miles an hour I pull about a 1 ¼ hp. If you want to know what method I use to ascertain this assessment, it is with a Prony brake. Do you know what that is?
I have a new Sony Bloggie and the next wind storm; I will upload actual test video so that should put an end to the dumfounded disbelief for awhile.

???????????????
Could you post some results from a measured result using verifieble and reproduceble numbers. To say I am sceptical is putting it mildly but I am ready to be amazed.
