if the characters have some variation of comedy relief thats fine. they still retain their skill and intellect. but once they show the "black one"

often bumbling unskilled vagrant. "all bark and no bite syndrome"

Beavis,and Butthead could be concidered as dehumanizing.But just like Beavis nad Butthead these character's are animated.The animator's made them look very funny.One because they could,and two,because it signify's them as comic relief.If they looked normal it would be harder to tell if they were,and it would also be less funny.

you can call B&B butthead ,jackass, ect.

but you wouldn't call them something that is a humorous depiction of a inhuman beast. nore would you make it normality from nearly a 1000 years. is someone called you and ancestry devils for hundreds of years. told you were lower than. then a mordern day movie depicted your nationality with devil horn and tails, for comedy relief. 9 time out 10 media follows suit. your saying that you wouldnt consider it either racist or biased aginst your culture?

am i the only one on here who can say im not at all racist, (seeing as how i do not think any race is inferior to me), yet still am able to laugh my ass off at any racist or stereotyping joke, especially the ones directed at me? like seriously am i the only on here with a sense of humor? think about it, if you take away everything humorously racist or stereotyping, we are the most boring and depressing species alive. 90% of the world would find itself getting arrested for laughing at the 'Twins'

strereotypes for the most part are used for comedy but the throwback of this (as ear as blacks in the us) is its old function that STILL appears, specifically to DEHUMANIZE.

alright,being honest,i think complaining about what totals about 4minutes dialogue in a 2 1/2 hour movie is pretty petty,and italian americans come off worse anyway!!the little rc truck,with stereotypical italian persona,is shown as a bit of a coward , changes sides and is a pervert humping the ladies leg..while the twins take on the biggest robot couragiously..im white with dreads,and theres a dig at white guys with dreads,selling hash brownies,should i be mad,as i dont take drugs?

@ViperT17 We educated people don't associate that with black people. RACISTS accentuate those features when parodying black people. You are familiar with black-facing, right? Check out one of the few times where Bugs Bunny isn't being hunted by Elmer Fudd, but by a black hunter with enormous lips and floppy shoes and a straw hat. THAT is black-facing, and Skids and Mudflap are the worst type of black-facing.

Ok I'm gonna tell you what I told EVERYONE ELSE ABOUT THIS DEBATE!

1. Skids and Mudflap = things a red neck would put on his truck

The Movie was actually making fun of uneducated rednecks who want to be "G"

(Now take a moment to let that sink in)

2. They never said the robots were black. They were portrayed as illiterate, uneducated, big eared, buck toothed invalids. (i.e. rednecks) AND YOU ASSOCIATED THEM WITH BLACK PEOPLE. Who's racist now?

Just..why? Why do people complain about sterotypes in movies, when most of us grew up with sterotypes? What about the Simpsons? What about the Genie in Aladdin? How come no one has complained about those huh? HUH?!

You're thinking way too deep into this.... What race is megatron? Hes considered the same as optimus prime but on the opposite side, nothing racists in that movie... Get over it...
