OR you can go to jarrvaskr in whiterun get daedric harts and then mine the ebony/ the daedric hart you have to steal BUT its easy but your way is good

If you improve dragon plate to legendary and have full heavy armor perks it ends up as the best armor in the game period. THOUGH! I think Daedric looks the best.

@Ballyfinian He means once you surpass 567, you have hit the highest protection value from armor (80% physical protection) thus meaning which ever is lighter is better.

@xrustynailsx Fast travel to white run, go into the first shop on the right, buy leather strips & iron ingots (buy as many as possible), leave shop, (facing the shop) there's a blacksmith's table on the right side of the shop so use that and craft as many iron daggers as possible. Repeat process.
