No, I've played all three basic versions of the game, DS is much harder.

I'm lucky I still got the original, seeing as how rare it is. I actually prefer to play the original than the new version. Mostly because to me it looks a lot better. Unless they re-remake it for 360 with the graphics of the opening scene then that would be great.
