Collette letting Sheena join the party is not "bad writing" nor is it "fridge logic" because it is consistent with Collette's character. Collette is naive, over apologetic, and a complete ditz. I wouldn't consider her the perfect heroine and clumsiness is not her only flaw. Still, she would probably seem a bit less of a Purity Sue if her trusting nature was exploited more or if she had more emotions then happy and apologetic.

And yes, Colette is the stereotypical perfect heroine cutout who's only flaw (her clumbsiness) was added to try to distract you from this fact. She's not so much a character as an archetype--overused and instantly recognizable. Want proof to confirm this? Her age, for instance; she's given wisdom without experiance. What are her hobbies? When she released the seal that removed her ability to sleep, she had to see Kratos to think of something to do. That's because she doen't /do/ anything else.

I'll use a comparrsion from geometry, if that'll help. A square may be a quadrilateral but a quadrilateral is not necessarily a square. It could be a diamond, or a rhombus. By application of this rule and their respective definitions, an assassin is definitively a murderer.
