@SniKKaz thats not true. any real enthusiast driving the older miatas would just swap the rag top to carbon fiber or regular hardtop....

Drive an NA in the rain once and you'll never question the extra $1,750 for a removable hardtop. It's like driving in a tent. On the plus side, I'm surprised to find NA heater actually works pretty good with the soft top up. It's December in Philly and I'm still driving the Miata.

It's not a Miata unless it has a rag top and a manual transmission.

For me, the point with the PRHT is not that it's any quieter, but rather the security of a hardtop. Besides, couldn't one install some Dynamat on the hardtop to make it even quieter?

hard top is harder to get into from a theifs perspective... soft top you just get a knife and then your in...

stupid to do the sound test at only 30 MPH! Should do it at highway speed; makes a ton of difference!
