I think this Cork concert was one of John's best...I especially love this version of Annie's Song with him singing a verse in gaelic lyric...amazing! I miss John every day.....

@Ghost99535 He wore his heart on his sleeve...that's what touched so many people. He would take feelings that many entertainers prefer to keep personal, find beautiful ways to express them, and share them with the world—often for a cause. He was very human, but he had a beautiful heart, and willingly shared it with the world. THAT is what I call kindness

This is pure John - such a simple song to have such an impact of emotion - he was the prodical son!
My father was John's personal body guard when he came to Ireland. i was too young to go see him so he left me a little gift. very sweet. one of my favourite songs ever.

Thank you so much for sharing all of the Cork city vidieos with all of us Michael. This song touches me most of all. I am a flight instructor and I think of John and his love for flight often. When the news reported John crashing his long EZ aircraft, this was the first song I turned to. He was such an inspiration and I often wonder if he knew so. We miss you John.

@Ghost99535 Yes he was! He touched the hearts of milions of people around the world. He was campaigning on behalf of hunger charities long before the famous Live Aid concerts and he continued his efforts to make the world a better place long after the Live Aid people, who excluded him from their project, had moved away from any involvement with the hunger cause.
