The Red-eyed Vireo is a relatively common songbird at Spring Farm CARES' Nature Sanctuary. Each year they build around a dozen nests in our mature forest. However, most nests are not found until wintertime when the leaves are down and when the vireo has long since migrated to the tropics. This video follows a Red-eyed Vireo pair from their arrival on the breeding ground and through the process of nest building and raising young.
