Introducing the SIG SAUER P224 at SHOT Show 2012. Essentially, the P224 is a sub compact P229. It can be chambered in 9mm Parabellum (Luger), .40 S&W, or .357 SIG in a compact package. The capacity of the P224 is 11+1 for 9mm (not 12+1), 10+1 for .40 or S&W. The trigger is offered either in DAK (SIG's tweaked double action only [DAO] trigger), or DA/SA with a decocker. This particular model is the P224 Extreme and comes with textured G10 grips. The MSRP for these will be in the $1100 range and the pistol is expected to hit the streets over the next few months.

Buy a G23 lots of ammo , a cold beer and a dozen roses for you : -)

Or a glock 26 and 4,000 rounds of ammo for the same price. When you are done with the 4,000 rounds. You should be getting good with it.

Hope you can do a review on the P224 SA/DA version. Looks cool and the street price should be considerably less. Maybe Crossbreed and Galco will create some new holsters for it too.
