Who ever uses paypal on gumtree is a epic failer.. Meet me the person, ask them to come down your house and pick it up or meet in the local cafe or soemthing -.- I managed to sell 2 of my items and i managed to get over £50 so ye... cos of 1 or 2 scammers you can say gumtree sucks... its you who needs to improve in your online trading skills... just a bit of common sence is enough...

I responded to an ad for an Elka synthex and the seller couldn't give me any proof he really had one, I got no video or sound samples. He couldn't answer any of my questions about the synth. He said he'd gone abroad and couldn't meet and his brother would post it for me to try if I made a down payment of £750 to him by Western Union (Not Paypal). When I refused, he got snotty and accused me of not having the funds and being a timewaster, never mind all the time I'd wasted. How do I report him?

@Laura041974 Dear Laura, to be honest I have abandoned gumtree completely. And I've heard they had made some changes to how the website operates. Try to read their Help or similar section.
