@r3n4to It's just a song, meaning lyrics aren't met to take literally, geeze. I really can't believe a scientist complained about this, it's laughable.

I don't think so. She is an emotionally way too balanced poised stable person.
No drama, no exaggerated or even strong emotions... Though she has some really interesting lyrics (and reliably provides beautiful melodies), but her style and her music is always a little too calm restrained moderate self-controlled. Single charts prefer drama queens, I mean.
