  • nice machine you have there dude

  • @fireicer Thanks, sometime within this next year I should have a Dyno video of it. The school I'm going to has their own Dyno and I get to bring my bike in and work on it on the weekends.

  • Sounds sweet I wanna do that to my 91 has much was ur pipe

  • @StillenGtr17 Should have broke out the box ends! Do you know any tricks to tuning the fuel mixture screws?

  • @amberTrichome Yea, only I didn't think about that till I struggled with the stock pipes being in the way.

  • @StillenGtr17 Oh alright thanks for the info, yea those ones are a bitch! Probably a lot easier to get to them with that exhaust on though!

  • @amberTrichome Nah, the rear shocks are from a different site. I can't remember what it's called and my bookmark toolbar disappeared, they have some pretty good deals on there though. The only thing with them is I had a hell of a time getting the left lower shock bolt off the old shock, and in the process I guess I messed the threads up a little.

  • @StillenGtr17 Nice, pretty similar to what I've been doing on my 83 b/c of the pod filters. I just got a dynojet kit though, I've got the needle set right I think (low end is beastly again) and I just put in the bigger main jet. I was getting backfiring in the carbs n lack of power at around 5000 rpm with the smaller one, haven't tested it out yet but I'm hoping that fixes it... How is that rear suspension? Are they the ones off bikebandit?

  • @amberTrichome Oh yea, I shimmed all four needles to get the high throttle hesitation fixed. And I bought four 38 pilot jets to deal with the low throttle hesitation and backfiring. I still get 41MPG, also a thing about these pipes is they quiet down quite a bit after a while which is good cuz at first it's REALLY LOUD and ear piercing. Now it's low and sounds sick.

  • looks fucking bad ass! did you need to adjust the carbs after?
